In my trips to Italy, when I would visit my biographical family in Teramo, very often I would stop in Rome. That year I was at Gina la Rocca's house preparing the New Year's Eve party at her place, and during the evening I sketched characters, in my opinion typical of the city, such as:
Nando, who talks a lot
The Fragile, who falls down and barely gets back up.
The Dancer, who moves even when he stands still
The Director with many films on his mind
And a self-portrait of me, note of the divine concert.
Nei miei viaggi in Italia, quando andavo a trovare la mia famiglia biografica a Teramo, molto spesso facevo tappa a Roma. Quell'anno mi trovavo a casa di Gina la Rocca per preparare la festa di Capodanno da lei e durante la serata schizzai dei personaggi, secondo me tipici della città, come per esempio:
Nando, che parla tanto
Il Fragile, che casca e si rialza a malapena
Il Ballerino che si muove anche quando sta fermo
Il Regista con molti film per la testa
ed un mio autoritratto, nota del concerto divino.
