OPERA OMNIA - RE FA from Renee Fabbiocchi

I painted this work for my mother Maria when I was in Rome after my return from Tokyo in 1987. This small canvas with a special star in yellow lacquer overcame the anguish of Maria's asthma caused by her life as a martyr in a family that did not respect her at all.
In fact, against a suffering background of gray mixed with bronze, red and a few lines of charcoal, this star exudes a profound healing power that opens to a transformation and prayerful bliss.

Ho dipinto quest'opera per mia madre Maria quando ero a Roma dopo il mio ritorno da Tokyo nel 1987. Questa piccola tela con una stella speciale in lacca gialla ha superato l'angoscia dell'asma di Maria, causata dalla sua vita da martire in una famiglia che non la rispettava affatto.
Difatti, su uno sfondo sofferente di grigio misto a bronzo, rosso e alcune linee di carboncino, questa stella emana un potere di guarigione profondo che apre ad una trasformazione e una beatitudine di preghiera.
