OPERA OMNIA - RE FA from Renee Fabbiocchi

Many times I have had the Desire to strengthen my Consciousness with Self-Portraits. As soon as they were made, they were able to elevate me into an untouchable sphere.
Equally, at times, I felt such a high connection with certain Souls that I wanted to portray them.
I remember one of my visits to the Etruscan Museum in Volterra that engaged me for two days in a row: I couldn't wait to transpose onto canvas the Spirits that had inspired me in the Museum.
The first portrait in Profile form I did in 1998 on the death of Lucio Battisti. It was my duty to thank this Artist who had helped me since my school years with his great capacity to LOVE. In fact, he was the first to open this gallery that wanted to answer Roland Barthes' question "How can an idea influence the aesthetics of a look?" Not surprisingly, two architects in this series have something in common because of their shared world of Ideas!

Molte volte ho avuto il Desiderio di rafforzare la mia Coscienza con Autoritratti. Non appena compiuti, essi riuscivano ad elevarmi in una sfera intoccabile.
Egualmente, a volte, ho sentito un legame talmente alto con alcune Anime da volerle ritrarre.
Ricordo una mia visita al Museo Etrusco di Volterra che mi impegnò per due giorni di seguito: Non vedevo l'ora di trasporre su tela gli Spiriti che mi avevano ispirato nel Museo.
Il primo ritratto in forma di Profilo lo feci nel 1998 alla morte di Lucio Battisti. É stato per me doveroso ringraziare questo Artista che mi aveva aiutato sin dagl'anni di Scuola con la sua grandissima capacità di AMARE. Fu il primo infatti ad aprire questa galleria che voleva rispondere alla domanda di Roland Barthes "Come può un'idea influenzare l'estetica di uno sguardo?". Non a caso, due architetti di questa serie hanno qualcosa in comune per via del loro mondo delle Idee condiviso!
