This large canvas was painted when I was living in Munich again in Thorwaldsenstrasse (1997). At that time, in fact, I needed with all my heart to represent the GREAT SPIRITUALITY OF GIUSEPPE VERDI and his power to rule his TIME. The work was exhibited in the Residence and Herkulessaal in Munich (see picture) during concerts of the great Italian composer. Here I visualize his ARPA D'OR, symbol of Victory in a heavenly setting.
Questa grande tela fu dipinta quando vivevo di nuovo a Monaco nella Thorwaldsenstrasse (1997). In quel periodo avevo difatti bisogno con tutto il cuore di rappresentare la GRANDE SPIRITUALITÀ DI GIUSEPPE VERDI e il suo potere di governare il suo TEMPO. L'opera é stata esposta nella Residenza e nel Herkulessaal di Monaco di Baviera (vedi foto) in occasione dei concerti del grande compositore italiano. Qui visualizzo la sua ARPA D'OR, simbolo della Vittoria in un ambiente paradisiaco.
