The Desire to see up close and savor the Divinatory Breath of STELLINA led me to create these Nests. Having no technical aids, such as Niki de Saint Phalle had thanks to Yves Tanguy, I assembled ovals on rectangular canvases indicating different stages of my Beloved STELLINA's growth. To make it three-dimensional, I tied them one on top of the other with an organic twine that I adore, raffia, reminding me of my humble peasant origins with my Mother Mary who used it to make bouquets of flowers.
La Voglia di vedere da vicino ed assaporare il Respiro Divinatorio di STELLINA mi ha portato a creare questi Nidi. Non avendo a disposizione aiuti tecnici, come per esempio Niki de Saint Phalleuomo con Yves Tanguy, ho assemblato su tele rettangolari degli ovali indicando diverse fasi di crescita dell'Amata STELLINA. Per rendere il tutto in tridimensionalità, le ho legate una sull'altra con uno spago organico che io adoro, la rafia, ricordandomi le mie umili origini contadine con mia Madre Maria che l'adoperava per fare dei mazzetti di fiori.
