"The Darkness of Meditation creates light in the in/visible Present."

Painted in Tokyo in 1986 shortly before returning to Europe, this painting seems to mix many symbols together as it happens in real dreams. A closed eyelid well made up with a fine eye shadow seems to have fallen under a breast of a sleeping torso crossed by yellow lightning...Few other signs complete this dreamlike image sunk in a palpable calm.

Dipinto a Tokyo nel 1986 poco prima di ritornare in Europa, questo quadro sembra mescolare molti simboli insieme come accade nei sogni reali. Una palpebra chiusa ben truccata con un raffinato ombretto sembra essere caduta sotto un seno di un busto addormentato attraversato da un fulmine giallo…Pochi altri segni completano quest'immagine onirica affondata in una calma palpabile.
