I° COMANDAMENTO: D'Are, 1981

I got this canvas as a gift at the Munich Academy of Arts from a rather depressed fellow student who had the Greyness of his illness on the back of it. Without lacking in Soul, with great Courage, I turned the canvas over and was able to heal the images imprinted on the reverse with this wonderful Commandment on the Generosity of GIVING that sets me apart. I have always, like my Mother, preferred to deal with GENEROUS LIGHT and not with Mortal Boredom. It is a work in which I experiment with many pigments and has a decidedly tribal and shamanic character. The Japanese Kanji of the Woman on the left is a sign that I was learning this new language in those early years in Munich.

Questa tela l'ho avuta in regalo all'Accademia di Monaco da uno studente abbastanza depresso che sul suo retro aveva il Grigiore della sua malattia. Senza farmi mancare d'Animo, con grande CoRaggio, ho rigirato la tela e sono stata in grado di guarire le immagini impresse all'inverso con questo meraviglioso Comandamento sulla Generosità del DARE che mi contraddistingue. Da sempre, come mia Madre, ho preferito occuparmi di LUCE GENEROSA e non di Noie Mortali. É un'opera in cui sperimento molti pigmenti ed ha un carattere decisamente tribale e sciamanico. Il Kanji giapponese della Donna sulla sinistra é un segnale che stavo apprendendo questa nuova lingua in quei primi anni a Monaco.
