This series of Calendars, from 2000 through 2017, reiterates the title of my Graduate Thesis, namely that all Arts are Sisters (Horace), especially Painting and Poetry. So I composed these calendars with personalities in Poetry that I particularly admired. Made by hand with the Poetry printed on parchment paper had the image of the paired Pictorial Work traced beneath it. It was a real tradition in October to prepare these calendars, numbered and signed, and displayed in famous bookstores in the city. A great Christmas gift!
Questa serie di Calendari, dal 2000 fino a 2017, ripropone il titolo della mia Tesi di Laurea, cioè che tutte le Arti sono Sorelle (Orazio), specie la Pittura e la Poesia. Quindi ho composto questi calendari con delle personalità della Poesia che volevo particolarmente lodare. Fatti a mano con la Poesia stampata su carta pergamena faceva travedere sotto di essa l'immagine dell'Opera Pittorica abbinata. É stata una vera tradizione ad ottobre preparare questi calendari, numerati e firmati, ed esposti in librerie famose della città. Un ottimo regalo natalizio!
