OPERA OMNIA - RE FA from Renee Fabbiocchi

Thanks to Claudio Asquini whom we had hosted in Munich, when we went to Rome we were even at his place in the famous Castel S. Angelo. What a Thrill to breathe in the Patina of almost 2,000 years of history and sleep in this Castle wanted by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a Mausoleum for him and his descendants. Its name comes from the memory of the Archangel Michael sheathing his sword, a vision interpreted as an omen of the imminent end of the plague.

Grazie a Claudio Asquini che avevamo ospitato a Monaco, quando andavamo a Roma eravamo da lui addirittura nel famoso Castel S. Angelo. Quale Emozione respirare la Patina di quasi 2000 anni di storia e dormire in questo Castello voluto dall'Imperatore romano Adriano come Mausoleo per lui ed i suoi discendenti. Il suo nome é dato dal ricordo dell'Arcangelo Michele rinfoderante la spada, visione interpretata come presagio dell'imminente fine della peste.
