A Tribute of the Heart to my beloved and favorite Actress Monica Vitti. On the day she died, the numerology of the date of her passing made an impression on me: 2.2.2022. I remember that I was in my Atelier in Volterra when, after hearing the news, I immediately lit a candle. Then closing my eyes, I made appear some features of her high cheekbones guided by my hand...but above all it is her voice that I hear in me to this day: a hoarse, almost masculine voice, flayed by the wounds that her Soul had accumulated. Un Omaggio del Cuore alla mia amatissima e favorita Attrice Monica Vitti. Il giorno che morì mi fece impressione la numerologia della data del suo trapasso: 2.2.2022. Ricordo che ero nel mio Atelier a Volterra quando, dopo la notizia, immediatamente accesi una candela. Poi chiudendo gli occhi, feci apparire attraverso la mia mano, qualche lineamento dei suoi zigomi alti...ma soprattutto é la sua voce che sento tutt'ora in me: una voce rauca, quasi maschile, scorticata dalle ferite che l'Anima aveva accumulato. Addio Monica, che la terra ti sia lieve!
