Shannon Hosmer is a DC-based artist working in traditional materials. She was born in Taiwan, took a fine arts degree in Illinois, taught English in Japan, then came to Maryland to study human-centered computing. Shannon develops the creative vision on complex digital products as Group Creative Director at Mindgrub - a digital agency based in Baltimore. Shannon invites her audience to experience the figure from her unique standpoint in her expressive works drawn from life.
