The Bending Time paintings are colorful and sometimes densely packed; the Strings (from earlier series’) are still there but accompanied by more planes and dimensions. Several diptychs, notably one, Bending Time Diptych #7, is an homage to Aretha Franklin. Thinking
about ascension and transitioning to other planes of existence are paramount in the consciousness of the work.
