Nsenga Knight’s Fitra: Amber series reflects on the Islamic concept of fitra—the innate purity and divine potential within every human being. Inspired by The Book of Sufi Healing, the series draws from the story of Prophet Solomon’s discovery of amber’s spiritual and physical healing properties. Through fluid watercolor compositions, Knight explores transformation, using repeated colors in unique ways to symbolize growth and renewal. Printed with vivid inkjet colors on archival paper. Signed, numbered and delivered in a protective paper tube with a certificate of authenticity.
