Portrait of the late Dr. Louis Levy (1889- 1952) unveiled July 1955 at Memphis Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Hospital. “Up for a close view were William Louis Levy, 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Levy of 131 DeVon Way, and grandson of the doctor. Presenting the picture was Dr. Philip M. Lewis (center) on behalf of the medical staff. Millsaps Fitzhugh, chairman of the board of Methodist Hospital, accepted the portrait. Methodist Hospital owns Memphis Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Hospital. Painting by K. Doyle Ford.”
