A solid piece of maple wood that has been turned on a lathe and carved to 1/8” thick into the bowl shape, then a dental drill was used to drill out each hole by hand, and finally a wire tipped wood burner was used to make tiny dots of pyrography pointilism on the surface to create the black color and texture.
