When I start out making a new sculpture if feels like a new adventure. I have an idea, but don't know what to expect and what will happen as I select, clean, cut, laminate, carve, and sand the wood. This sculptures turned out to be especially adventurous when I made it.
Made from 70+ pieces of reclaimed redwood, laminated, carved, sanded and finished with linseed oil to bring out the natural colors and grain lines of the wood.
