The artist made this woven vessel from sweetgrass, bound with red linen thread. The form swells and folds, resisting symmetry. A found stone is cradled at the center, shifting the piece from container to holder. The artist was interested in the tension between utility and ritual, between softness and weight, and in how binding becomes structure.
