Mixed media.
The ephemeral papers used came from a variety of sources, including a vintage piece of a prescription note.
I created this for a show called "Dreamers and Seekers" - which was on display at the District Theatre in Indianapolis, August/ September 2023.
I used automatism while composing and drawing on these small collage pieces. I enjoy the way meaning is implied or even assigned as soon as I add cut text words. This extra layer to my work really excites me!

History: Much of my vintage ephemera collection comes from my mother's art supply collection. She was also a mixed media artist, and passed in 2011. When I use those materials, its like I'm having a conversation with her spirit.
