My nightfall series is inspired by three things.
At Longyear Gallery we have a special show coming up based on night inspiration.
The second inspiration is of my drawings and paintings of horses of a famous carousel in Central Park. All the horses are running in terror.
The third inspiration is from photographs in the New York Times I believe of Chinese students protesting their despair of graduating from college with no opportunities for work.
I first did a series of drawings in pastel of trying to combine these images together. From these drawings inspired larger paintings.
