Multiple layers of paint and forms result in a cacophony of colors. Further abstraction was created by using a brayer. The color palette and mark making are reminiscent of Gerhard Richter’s colorful gestural abstractions. While created for Project 1O3 this piece was one of more than 25 works that haven’t been with a second artist.
