The yellow and yellow-green colors in this textured painting seem to call up both the sun and openness. The title, POD, suggests native Southern California seed pods waiting to disperse new life. Sides left natural/unpainted, showing the history of the painting process. Signed on back and side, framed in a minimal wood floater frame. Colors are best in a room with brighter ambient light.
