HEART, 2026

June 14, 2025 was the first No Kings March in Los Angeles; this painting is based on one of many photos I took that day. I was on the lookout for positive messaging in particular, and this was one of the most powerful for me. To the left of the "Find Your Heart" sign, in the distance, are the gray vertical lines of the Federal Building where abductees were being held without due process. Sealed, handmade recycled cotton paper; acid-free, chemical-free and tree-free, mounted to sealed cradled wood panel with 1/2" walnut artist's frame finished with Danish oil. Most of the yellow is the natural tone of the paper. Painting is varnished with a mostly matte sheen and signed on back. Please view video for additional details.
