It's a weekly ritual. They walk and talk, engrossed in conversation and reverence. Every Sunday they take to the beach. They are all but invisible as they become one with the sand, the ocean, the cosmos. This composite image is abstracted using a digital synthesizing technique. Individual custom brushstrokes are applied by a program, using data from photographs. Post production ensues.
