I am part of a small "colony" of plein air painters who meet weekly, usually on Tuesdays, whenever the weather is nice. One of our favorite locations is at a kayak launch-point between Summer Harbor and Winter Harbor. The views from here are spectacular and often atmospheric, and the shoreline rocks are exquisite. Rugosa roses line the upper shore and bloom when the weather gets warm.
