This painting of a colourful outcrop on a foggy day at on overlook into the Nassagaweya Canyon in Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area is a bit different. I had gotten a bit lost in the paint and used a scraping or scratching technique to help redefine the drawing, similar to actually drawing, but with a sharp point. I painted over some of the markings, and left many as they were. I kind of like how it combines in the compostion to make this painting a bit more dynamic. What are your thoughts on the style? 12x12", oil on cradled panel.
