The phrase 'Art Collection' usually conjures up expensive oil paintings worth thousands which are out of the financial reach of most of us. However collecting art is something that can be done at all investment levels and I hope by taking you through some of my collection in this hotel it will demonstrate that relative inexpensive pieces when properly curated and displayed for the audience that will see them can give as much pleasure and satisfaction as a highly sought after ticket at some major gallery Most of my pictures have been collected over a number of years and have been sourced in all sorts of fun places like auctions, car boot sales, brocantes, house clearances and even from skips! One of the nice things about having a hotel is that you can display all sorts of pictures which you may not normally have at home firstly because there is no room and secondly they maybe are not to one's personal taste but by displaying in a hotel room would find a more appreciative and wide ranging audience. So please do look and engage with what we have put up. Surely better than badly hung irrelevant nondescript prints that have had no thought. Artist details (if known) are also displayed.
