On view September 16 - October 14, 2023 Bringing together two Korean women artists, Encounter engages harmony in color/form and contrast in material/process as platforms for meditation. A decade apart, in different disciplines, Cho and Namkoong developed similar aesthetics born from their shared cultural heritage and influenced by their individual experiences moving from South Korea to the United States/Michigan/Detroit.
