Inspired by the secret orchid from my childhood in the Whipstick Forest, this unique case holds pins and needles so they are protected. It also offers protection to the user, so represents the way we created various forms of protection for ourselves during the pandemic. Our quirky ways of defending ourselves are special to us and come in ways we usually can't control.
By embracing these protective measures we can accept ourselves and our pain more fully. This can result in greater kindness all round.
