My oil paintings are realistic images taken from life--usually images fron nature, and often the ocean.
The paintings are metaphors for the things we really see rather than what meets the eye.
Like Magritte and the Surrealists, I want people to look deeper into the meaning and symbolism
of an image and consider (or think about) what the perception of it is.
