In my series, “Animals Matters,” I combine abstract expressionism with representational imagery. The purpose of my art is to present a strong message about environmental threats and ecological issues. They highlight extinction and show animals that are struggling to survive because of human activities. The rusted corrugated metal that I paint on is detritus that I picked up on the beaches in my area.
