Where Has She Been?
- Wire, clay, thread
- 48 x 24 x 13 in
- Megan Segre
This is one of the first pieces in Segre's jacket series. Sculpted with wire, it was originally covered in clay to give it form. Painted red and woven with ten different colors of thread, it was re-worked to give it a new start. “Where Has She Been?” is modeled after the coat of a loved one. Her story includes an elegant past and a challenging present.
