Dignity

This sculptural jacket is threaded with jute twine. It is woven in a transparent random pattern and is inspired by the many women who wear their clothing with dignity despite the many tears and holes. The right elbow exposes a worn spot where the fibers are broken. This tear does not deter the wearer's sense of dignity.
