This painting was built on a drawing made on the beach nearby in corner of South Beach. Clear, cold springs bubble up from underground reservoirs forming liquid mounds. I took that drawing to Pinnacle Rock and discovered the pinnacle in the material abstraction of the drawing. The image grew from there.
