Dawn Thaw, Eype, Dorset, 2020

I arrived on site before dawn on a very cold, clear, morning. The piece was submerged in a stream issuing from the cliff. The water froze. Layers of paint sat one on top of the other until the sun rose and the frozen surface began to melt. Some uncommon textures have remained which are rather wonderful. Real collaboration.
