Acquired at the 2015 Winter Park Paint Out -- This is a night painting, or "nocturne," by artist Stephen Bach. It captures the deep blue of a spring evening right before dusk turns to night, with the History Museum building as its quiet focus. The painting was originally purchased as a possible gift for a family member or friend. But for some reason, the right birthday, holiday or anniversary never seemed to arrive, which is OK, as it lets Hal and Kevin continue to enjoy the painting in their home.
