Winter Park Times Three: This painting is a view of the Venetian Canal which joins Lake Maitland to Lake Osceola. Three different canals create a single navigable waterway consisting of Lakes Maitland, Osceola, Virginia and Mizell. The painting was purchased from Don during the 2017 Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, a 58 year tradition in Winter Park. And Don himself is a resident and fixture in the Winter Park art community. His portraits and landscapes are admired by all. In short, the Venetian Canal, the Spring Sidewalk Art Festival and Don Sondag – three Winter Park icons all rolled into one amazing painting.
