This piece was inspired by the beautiful full moons over the ocean that we can see on clear evenings from our lanai. For my paint color, I chose a blue (Arteza Acrylic pearl turquoise), referencing the classic Blue Moon song. Per the instructions for Square One, the only paint colors I used were undiluted turquoise, mixtures of turquoise and either black or white, and undiluted white. Please note that dark green shades appear to be turquoise-black mixtures. Black and white paper, black and clear glass, and black and white found objects (a stencil, an O ring, and a pegboard hook) were also incorporated.
