Oddity (Lodgepole Candelabra Tree, Lyell Canyon)

Lodgepole pines normally grow straight and true, with a single trunk. Every now and then the trunk will split into multiples, gaining the nickname "candelabra tree." Very unusual for Lodgepoles.
