One from a series of 15 paintings that was inspired by the receding glaciers and reference glacial water and cartographic contour lines. With this series, the work began presenting a paradox in both its context and its making. Drawing from satellite imagery, I was trapping air in molten hot wax to convey the effects of glacial ice.
