Global Retreat 2.

This piece is inspired by images of receding glaciers taken by photographer James Balog, the creator of the documentary Chasing Ice. The orange line marks time signifying where the glacier has receded from.

These pieces were finished just as the entire globe was going into lockdown and receding from life as we knew it. The title therein reflects both glacial and human retreat.
