Emerald World, 2017

Emeralds are animated by their imperfections.
This garden of scratches, mossy textures, and misty layers, reveals its history, and like emeralds, embraces irregularity, character, & individuality. Like episodes in a drama, each vignette unveils part of a story. Forms woven into places to reflect, as an epic poem in the heroic tradition.
A painting as a vessel expressing a spectrum of emotions to spark the imagination.
