Significant awards include an NEA Artists Grant and a Printmaking and Painting Fellowship from the Artist Foundation of Massachusetts in 1985. In 1980, she founded the Artist Proof Cooperative Print Studio in Cambridge MA. which was honored in 2000 by the Boston Public Library with an exhibition and catalog “Proof in Print; a community of printmaking studios” for it’s contribution to the development of the painterly print.
Since moving to Los Angeles, she has had notable exhibitions at L.A.C.E., Jan Baum Gallery, the Brand Art Gallery and at the LA Municipal Art Gallery, where she also curated the historical exhibition in 2010, “Connections; LA Printmaking 1962-1973” on the impact of printmaking in Los Angeles.
Other curatorial work includes the ongoing traveling international collaborative print installation “the ImMigration Project” which has been installed in Texas, Venice Italy and in Los Angeles at Self Help Graphics & Art. in 2020. Another collaborative project, “Paper Boats” went to Venice Italy in 2022 where she will be an Artist in Residence at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica.
Along with independent curating, she has taught printmaking at the Boston Museum School, OTIS College of Art and Design and at Loyola Marymount University.
