I ask a lot of questions about where our internal selves touch the outer world. These questions are regularly about fears, traumas, melancholy, and sentimentality. From those questions, I get curious and do deep-dive research into word history; the origins and meanings of words I am rolling around. From that research, I start to form a visual of these experiences that are inspired by conversations I have with others, historical references, dreams, and research I am doing at the moment and previous research from the past. The accumulation of these questions, manifestations, conversations, and research is where I begin to create.”
