Graduating from The Art Institute of Atlanta, Pam Brewer migrated from interior designer to general contractor to ceramic artist. As a full-time ceramic studio artist for over 30 years, she is drawn to the more organic forms and processes. With several permanent private commissions and community and public art installations to her credit in mosaic, her ceramic sculpture is found in many private and public collections. New work includes a bronze sculpture. Teaching: ASU, Penland School of Crafts, John C. Campbell Folk School, private.
Pam's ceramic animal sculptures are organic, hand-built earthenware. This work is born out of a true collaboration between Pam and the clay, using traditional coiling and pinching processes. Pam also creates mosaics and cast bronze sculptures.
