Renée A Fox earned her BFA from Otis College of Art & Design, Los Angeles, CA in 2002. Since then she has exhibited and sold work in Los Angeles and nationally. Her public practice began in 2013 and now includes 9 public murals and numerous privately commissioned murals. She has mural work in the permanent collection of MOAH and permanent collection of LA County. Renée’s drawings, paintings and murals illustrate exaggerated feminine stereotypes and references to the female body to challenge popular ideas of “feminine'. Renée currently teaches painting and drawing at Otis College and serves as President on the non profit board of Inglewood Open Studios, an organization she founded in 2006 to support art and artists in the City of Inglewood. Renée lives and works in Inglewood, CA.
