Christy Savage is a mid-career multi-discipline artist, filmmaker and art teacher. A life-long fan of horror, she specializes in dark and fantastic paintings of terror and death. She strives to not only entertain, but to also introduce viewers to new ideas or overlooked issues. Christy also co-founded the Trash Film Orgy Film Festival and Sacramento Zombie Walk. She is an award-winning cinematographer and has produced and shot a handful of indie films with her production company, TFO Productions. She teaches art to children who are unhoused or have learning disabilities, because she finds strength in balance and feels a duty to contribute to society. Christy is currently focused on creating murder art and inspirational demons. She firmly believes in the power of the arts to enhance and strengthen a community and works hard to promote, encourage and develop creative weirdness in Sacramen
