Pat Broughton is a practitioner of both art and science. After being almost obsessed with drawing and painting from a young age, he became increasingly fascinated with the world of science and engineering and pursued a formal education in the field of electrical engineering. After a 12-year full-time career as an engineer he turned back toward the visual arts and has has focused on painting and drawing ever since. Pat's art reflects his experience straddling two worlds and finding the overlap between them.
