Crossnore Weavers was created to preserve the Appalachian art of hand-weaving, to give an economic opportunity to women, and to promote Crossnore Communities for Children through the sale of beautiful hand-woven goods all over the world. Crossnore weavers have been preserving the heritage arts in Appalachia since 1920, and continuing to offer classes, educational opportunities, and employ local weavers. All proceeds from the sale of weaving support the mission of Crossnore Communities for Children.
