Ann Hord-Heatherley draws much of her inspiration from vintage photographs. The artist sculpts the face of their portraits from air-dry clay, then covers them in cloth. The other body parts are sewn from hand-dyed fabrics, and the hair is made of mohair locks from the artist’s Angora goats.
