Dreissena Polymorpha
Drawing ink, screenprint, collage
“This work addresses the invasive zebra mussel. This freshwater organism has invaded all of the Great Lakes and is working its way inexorably across North American fresh waterways. A filter feeder, dresseina polymorpha strips ecosystems of their most basic component, wreaking havoc on the food chain.”
